Terms & Conditions

These terms and conditions apply to all products sold by FamiFun Studio, registered in the Netherlands (KVK 70671699), and to all use of the FamiFun Studio website.

FamiFun Studio reserves the right to update these terms at any time. The version in force at the time of your order applies to that transaction.

By accessing our website or placing an order, you confirm that you have read, understood, and agree to be bound by these terms.

All orders are subject to availability. FamiFun Studio reserves the right to refuse an order or request additional information if reasonably necessary.

The agreement is concluded at the moment you receive an order confirmation by email from us.

If a product unexpectedly proves to be unavailable after you have placed an order, we will inform you as soon as possible and you are entitled to a refund of any amounts already paid.

Pre-orders will be delivered within the estimated delivery period stated on the website. This delivery period is indicative and may change. In the event of a significant delay, we will inform you in a timely manner and you have the right to terminate the agreement free of charge in accordance with Article 4 of these terms and conditions.

Payment is due in full at the time of placing an order. We accept major credit and debit cards and other payment methods as listed at checkout.

All prices are shown in Euros (€) and include Dutch VAT (BTW) where applicable.

FamiFun Studio does not store payment card details. All payments are processed securely by our payment provider.

We currently ship to addresses within the Netherlands and selected EU countries. Shipping costs and estimated delivery times are shown at checkout.

If delivery does not take place within 30 days and no specific delivery period has been agreed, you have the right to cancel the agreement after giving us a reasonable additional period for delivery.

Risk of loss and title for products pass to you upon delivery to the shipping address provided.

You have the right to withdraw from the agreement within 14 days without giving any reason.

The withdrawal period will expire 14 days after the day on which you, or a third party designated by you other than the carrier, acquire physical possession of the product.

To exercise the right of withdrawal, you must inform us of your decision to withdraw from the agreement by an unequivocal statement (for example, by email to info@famifunstudio.nl). You may use the European model withdrawal form, but it is not obligatory.

If you withdraw from the agreement, we will reimburse all payments received from you, including the standard delivery costs (with the exception of any additional costs resulting from your choice of a type of delivery other than the least expensive type of standard delivery offered by us), without undue delay and in any event not later than 14 days from the day on which we are informed of your decision.

We may withhold reimbursement until we have received the goods back, or until you have provided evidence that you have returned the goods, whichever occurs first.

We will reimburse you using the same means of payment as you used for the original transaction, unless expressly agreed otherwise.

You must return the goods without undue delay and in any event not later than 14 days from the day on which you informed us of your decision to withdraw from the agreement. You are on time if you send back the goods before the 14-day period has expired.

The direct costs of returning the goods shall be borne by you.

You may handle and inspect the product only to the extent necessary to establish its nature, characteristics, and functioning, as you would be allowed to do in a physical store.

You are only liable for any diminished value of the goods resulting from handling beyond what is necessary to establish the nature, characteristics, and functioning of the goods.

If you wish to exercise your right of withdrawal, we kindly request that you contact us at info@famifunstudio.nl and include your order number. We will provide you with further return instructions.

Our games are delivered in sealed packaging. If the seal has been broken and the product is no longer saleable as new, for example because components have been removed from the punchboard, parts are missing, or the game shows visible signs of use, we reserve the right to apply an appropriate deduction for diminished value.

We kindly request that you return the product carefully and, where reasonably possible, in its original packaging to prevent unnecessary loss of value.

Upon receipt and inspection of the returned product, we will process the reimbursement in accordance with Article 5 of these terms and conditions.

We strive to package and deliver our products with care. If your order arrives damaged or parts are missing, we kindly ask you to contact us as soon as possible at info@famifunstudio.nl, stating your order number and, if possible, providing clear photos of the issue. This enables us to assist you quickly and efficiently.

Reporting a defect as soon as possible after discovery helps ensure a prompt resolution, but does not affect your statutory rights.

We guarantee that our products conform to the agreement and to the reasonable expectations you may have of them. If a product does not conform to the agreement, for example due to a manufacturing defect or missing components, you are entitled to free repair or replacement. If repair or replacement is not possible or cannot reasonably be required, you are entitled to an appropriate remedy in accordance with applicable consumer sales law.

Damage resulting from improper use, careless handling, accidents, or normal wear and tear is not covered by the statutory warranty.

All game designs, artwork, rules, brand names, logos, and content on this website are the intellectual property of FamiFun Studio and are protected by Dutch and international copyright law.

You may not reproduce, copy, redistribute, or create derivative works based on our products or content without prior written permission from FamiFun Studio.

Purchase of a product grants you a personal, non-commercial licence to play the game. No other rights are transferred.

FamiFun Studio processes personal data in accordance with the General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR) and the Dutch UAVG.

We collect and use your data solely for processing orders, delivering products, and communicating with you about your purchase.

Your data will never be sold to third parties. For questions about your data, contact us at info@famifunstudio.nl.

To the extent permitted by law, our liability is limited to the purchase price of the relevant product. We are not liable for any indirect, incidental, or consequential damages arising from the use or inability to use our products.

Our board games are designed for the recommended age groups stated on the packaging. FamiFun Studio accepts no liability for injuries or damages resulting from failure to follow the age guidelines or game instructions.

Nothing in these terms and conditions limits or excludes liability for damages resulting from intent or deliberate recklessness of FamiFun Studio, or to the extent exclusion is not permitted by mandatory law.

These terms are governed by the laws of the Netherlands. Any disputes arising from these terms or from the purchase of our products shall be submitted to the competent court in the Netherlands.

If you are a consumer in another EU country, you may also have rights under the laws of your country of residence.
